Sextuplets

Dude! You people gotta get to cnn.com. Go to their health section. There's a story titled "Sextuplet Boom." Talks about 2 couples that had sextuplets within 24 hours of each other. It's so cool!

Day in Our Village...

In random order:

We had Day in our Village yesterday (Sunday the 3rd). That means that anyone with a business, club, hobby, etc gets to set up a booth in a certain park about a 15 min walk from here. From 11-6, people swarm the park looking at the booths and eating stuff like COTTON CANDY THAT'S PINK - can ya guess what David bought me? Anyhoo, Vineyard had 2 booths set up (and I forgot the camera). We were on the crew, thus meaning we got nifty t-shirts, as well as Vineyard hats. I think Vineyard musta BEEN the crew - there were at least 60 of us there throughout the day. The crew are the people who help the "boothers" put up and take down their stuff. We did take down. Did you know there're muscles right in front of your hip bones? It was a lot of fun. Found at least one fun thing to do in town that I didn't know existed - a free...uh...whatever the word for "fancy plant house" is. It's got birds, turtles, and fish I do hear.

I'm currently down to 2/3 the dose of Depakote that I had been on. I'll be entirely off in less than 5 weeks.

Our friend, Perry, is currently in India doing some type of missions stuff. He'll be back in a bit over a week.

Tonight, David and I are going to dinner with one of his friends from work (Adam) and his fiance (Kathy). That's pretty much all I know about that so far.

Our small group is not meeting any more for the summer. I could go on about that for a while; it's the biggest let-down I've had in a long time. We struggled so hard to try and get connected, and now it's just that much harder. I doubt that anyone in that group has a clue how badly I want to be around them and because they all either work or have kids, the weekly meetings were about my only chance. David does fairly well with few people around, but I'm nearly back to square one. I feel like 9 months of struggling to get in just flopped.

Near the end of June or beginning of July, we'll be traveling to see Mark (my bro). He'll be on leave. Which state we're flying to, when, and for how long, are all gonna have to be last moment decisions though. That's a tad complicated. We'll at least be seeing Mom and Dad too since Mark'll be with them. We may or may not get to see Lisa and Micah.

I guess right after we're back we'll start planning a vacation just for David and I.

And we have a new small group member!!! She was born last Thursday night - May 31 I think. I think her name's Anabella? That sounds right. I kinda hope she doesn't have bright red hair like her brothers, 'cause if she does I'll be begging to babysit and you all know that is not something I'm talented at. I go to red hair like a moth to a light.

I've already got my kids "special ordered" in my head: Think what David would look like if his hair was curly and his beard shaved off. Beautiful!!!

I'm tired of typing now.
