Nuttin Much

Well, scratch that idea about pop-in-the-mike food for our vacation. I'm working on a 2 week menu to buy and put together the previous week. We can pull stuff out of the freezer, stick it in the oven, and have REAL food!

I also made 10(!) weeks worth of menus today. They're all in my "Master Plan" notebook in sheet protectors now! Booyah!

We'll probably spend Saturday shopping for various things. I actually have 4 items to get at 4 seperate stores.

We went out for Italian on Thursday night - our 11 month. I ate a full 4 times the amount I can usually eat. Undoubtedly, it's from spending 2 solid hours sweeping and mopping the house in the afternoon.

David's B.Day

Look what happened on David's birthday - a baby girl rhinoceros was born! I'm sure it was just for my hubby. (Cleveland)

Pity the Kitty

Hey Y'all.

Here's my run-down of what's going on...

David's probably doing some kind of programming contest this weekend (via home). It's run from Germany, so it goes our Friday 6 AM to Sunday 6 AM. I get to do anything I care to; I simply have to leave him alone. (And I'll probably have to remind him to eat.)

We've decided to take a second honeymoon, but stay home for it. I'm thinking DVD's and pop-in-the-mike food. We're trying for Labor Day week.

I've managed to trash about 5 bags of stuff from our house and there are 3 small boxes ready to give away. Most everything is organized now, and the house'll be complete in about 3 more weeks. This is such a nicer place to live with the clutter gone and everything else consolidated, organized, and neatly labeled.

We're going to Target tonight. I don't know if it'll be tonight, but soon we'll be purchasing a cheap bookshelf. I already put a sticky note on the wall where I want it, and stacked under the sticky note is the stuff I want to put on the shelves.

Flylady

Anybody else procrastinate like I did?



I found a bodacious site that I've been working off of for a full week now. It's called Flylady. The whole thing is funny and light, giving detailed and simple instructions on how to clean, organize, or fix most anything in your home. The jist of it is establishing helpful routines, one at a time. I'm hooked. And YOU SHOULD SEE MY HOUSE! Wooo!

I'm keeping house as well as my sister now! (Mom?) :P

Need Some Squirrely?

Well, I do! It's Sat night and I just spent Mon-Sat turbo cleaning the house. I'm gutting it - trashbags of clutter have been leaving every day. Then I'm taking what's left and organizing it. Tomorrow, however, I am sworn to squirreliness. David said I have to take one full day this weekend and do nothing. So, after church, we PLAY. Me go be squirrely now. Toodle-oo.
